Calendar of Events

Apple Valley Police and Target Stores are sponsoring National Night Out Tuesday, August 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. at James Woody Community Center: 13467 Navajo Road in Apple Valley. National Night Out is designed to:

• Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.
• Generate support for, and participation in, local anti crime programs.
• Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/community partners.
• Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

We will have information on crime prevention, children’s fingerprinting, Town of Apple Valley information booth, Apple Valley Fire Explorers, McGruff the Crime Dog, Target Stores, Girl Scouts, No Drugs America, Mimi’s Café, Apple Valley Recreation Department, American Medical Response and Sheriff’s Department Vehicles on display, free food and face painting, a live band and much more. So come on out and show your support for your community.

This event is proudly presented by the Town of Apple Valley, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the California Highway Patrol, the Apple Valley Citizens on Patrol, Apple Valley Police Activities League, and the Apple Valley Fire Protection District.
