The Town of Apple Valley Animal Services Department is comprised of field and shelter personnel working together to promote and protect public safety and animal care through sheltering, pet placement programs, education and law enforcement. Our philosophy is to promote responsible pet ownership, compassion toward animals and safe human-animal interactions. Our purpose is to provide responsive, efficient and high quality animal care services that preserves and protects public and animal safety.
Our Animal Services Department is open to the public Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hours: Animals are fed and their holding areas are cleaned every morning and evening. Public access is restricted to holding areas during this time. Visitors wanting to see the animals should arrive after 9 a.m.
