Corwin Road will be closed from Rimrock Road to Dale Evans Parkway December 4 through January 11.
Motorists are required to take alternate routes. Detour signs will be in place to help guide drivers around the area.
This $3 million project is the biggest road improvement job since the completion of Apple Valley Road. Corwin will be widened from Highway 18 to Choco to accommodate a center turn lane as well as 4’ wide bicycle paths on both sides of the road.
The next phase will be from Dale Evans Parkway to Ramona Rd with an expected closure from January 12 to January 29, and then Waalew Road from Corwin to Ramona.
