Celebrate Independence Day at the 12th Annual Freedom Festival featuring Desperado, a live tribute band dedicated to the best of the Eagles. Park festivities include the water spectacular, children’s games, the Fire District Jr. Combat Challenge, bounce houses, lots of food, a beer garden and a wide array of merchandise for sale. Entertainment includes the Shenanigans, Apple Valley Idol Winners, Desperado and more.
The National Anthem and Color Guard Presentation will be at 6 p.m. For proper disposal of your own worn and tattered flags, bring them to any fire station between now and July 4 to be included in the Fire Explorers flag retirement ceremony.

Parking and admission to the Freedom Festival are both free!
Brewster Park is located at 21024 Otoe Road. Take Dale Evans Parkway approximately 1.5 miles north from Highway 18. The park features 40 acres of grass, a playground and horseshoe pits. Bring your canopies and chairs. No alcohol, pets or barbecue grills may be brought into the park.
