The Town of Apple Valley is proud to present our Military Recognition Banner Program as a way to honor Apple Valley residents who are serving in the armed forces. For each service person nominated the Town installs one tribute banner in the Civic Center parking lots, as well as provides recognition on this website.
The first set of banners were unveiled at the Town’s 20th Anniversary Celebration in October 2008. We are continuously accepting applications, with new banners posted regularly.

The Town also welcomes sponsors of the program in any amount. A $300 sponsorship offsets the cost to recognize one service person and covers the purchase of the banner and mounting hardware. Banners may be paid for by the family, or will be installed on a first come first serve basis as sponsorships are available.
