Animal Rescue Organizations
Thank you for your interest in joining our efforts as an Animal Rescue Organization (ARO). Together we can continue to provide "A Better Way of Life" for the animals in our care - Four Paws at a Time. Partnering with rescue organizations is with the intent to provide our shelter animals; (1) Alternate housing while awaiting a permanent loving home; (2) Time to heal from injury or illness before adoption and/or; (3) Receive needed behavior modification to make the animal adoptable. Interested AROs can access the application for a Cooperative Agreement via this link:
***Animal Rescue Boarding/Kennel Lic. form must be submitted for all rescue foster homes in the Town of Apple Valley city limits***
Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster parent. As a foster caregiver you will be providing a temporary home for kittens, puppies, dogs, cats, or other animals in need. The devotion and care given during this time will allow the animal a second chance to be adopted by a loving family. Plus, you'll receive unconditional love and attention right back from the animal you nurture.
If you are interested in helping young, sick, or injured animals, but cannot make a long term commitment, fostering may be a rewarding alternative to pet ownership.
Fostering requires completion of a foster application and approval by the shelter supervisor.
