Let your Saturday go to "waste!" Join in a Town-wide effort to pick up litter.

In celebration of “A Better Way of Life,” the Town of Apple Valley welcomes volunteers at the next Community Cleanup Day.

Community service organizations, schools, clubs and individual volunteers are invited to participate in cleaning up designated areas of town. Volunteers must sign up in advance and then check in for assignments at Town Hall, 14955 Dale Evans Parkway. To help make a difference call Special Events at (760) 240-7000 ext. 7071 or email

Bulky household items such as mattresses, appliances, and furniture may be dropped off free of charge at the collection bins on the corner of Navajo and Pah-ute (southwest corner).

  • No tires, televisions, computer monitors or other hazardous materials will be accepted.
  • Proof of Apple Valley residency is required.

General household trash, yard waste and construction debris will be not be accepted at the drop-off location, but can be taken to the Victorville landfill free of charge from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. This program is offered in conjunction with the County of San Bernardino Waste System Division Free Dump and Recycle Day.
