The Human Resources Department coordinates a comprehensive personnel program including position classification, compensation, recruitment, placement, evaluation and training. The Department also coordinates the employee benefits program including medical, dental, vision, long term disability and deferred compensation. They coordinate labor relations for the Town, monitor state and federal legislation, such as the American With Disabilities Act, and maintains confidential personnel records.
The Town has about 90 full-time employees and, in addition, contract for Building & Safety, Engineering, Public Works Inspection and Police services.
